Welcome to My Car Page - Dodge Neon SRT-4

Car History

I purchased my Red Dodge Neon SRT-4 from Wayne, NJ at Wayne Dodge in June of 2004. I really wasn't looking to get an american car, but my friend suggested to look into the srt-4 since i was planning on test driving some dodge cars.. After the test drive, I gotta say, I was sold.. I used to have a '90 Red Mazda Miata, which I had a Greddy Turbo kit, greddy exhaust, greddy boost controller and boost gauge. Anyways, once I drove another turbocharged car, I fell in love of the whoosh sound all over again..

So lets get to more recent times, I've lightly modded my srt-4 so far, nothing too serious but a decent amount faster then stock.

My current mods are: AGP Wastegate actuator, AGP Coldair intake, AGP Huge front mount intercooler, AGP EVM, AGP Dogbone and tranny mount, Walbro 255lph intake fuel pump, Needswings 3"downpipe w/mpp2 electric cutout, Mopar Stage 2 w/o toys, Mopar STS, Custom catch-can, Tein SS coilovers, F/R Mopar strut tower bars, Kosei's K1 w/bfgoodrich kdw/2 - 225/45 r17, F/R Power slotted w/Hawk HPS pads, clear corners, painted side mirros, custom eyelids, Autometer/SRT Oil-Pyro-A/F ratio-30lb boost gauges in TNS triple pillar mount, Apex-i AVC-R, and DMC harness bar.

Last dyno numbers were 276.7whp@5250 - 300.8ft/wtq@4500. Not bad with stock turbo running 21lbs with no fuel management. I was running really rich on my best run with stage2 dumping tons of fuel in the upper rpms...

Previous Car - Red Mazda Miata 1990

Here are couple pics I found of my previous car. It was a 1990 Red Mazda Miata with a Greddy Turbo kit, greddy's 2.5" catback exhaust, Profec-B boost controller, and greddy electronical boost gauge. I wish I had more pictures of this car, but over time and couple hard drive failures, most of the pictures I had were lost......

I had the car for approx 5 years before I had to give it up. I used to drag race the car at Englishtown, NJ and Atco, NJ. Where I had the joy of experiencing the thrill of racing and the joys of breaking down every other day.  In the history of my miata, I blew about 11 rear ends, 2 transmissions, 2 engines and 1 turbo.  Anyways, It was all a learning experience, an expensive and timely one....

The fastest time ¼mile time was 14.00secs @ 100mph.   I never dyno’d the car, but I estimated I was pushing approx 200whp.  For a car that weighted 2100lbs and handled great, it was fun!
